Walking with God (Message shared by Brother. Joseph) - Jan 10th 2013

Today’s message from God is to consider His Calling seriously.

1.       You are called to be as God’s Sons & Daughters

2.       You are the Temple of God

3.       You Called to be as Imitators (followers) of God

You are called to be as His God’s Sons & Daughters

"For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ" Eph 1: 4, 5

You are called to be as God's children, hence we are asked to make sure that we are not deceived by the ways of the world. Please don't conform to the ways of the Lord. Set apart and consecrate yourself, since you have called to do special things for the Lord. Remember that you are different and you will be recognized differently. People around you shall witness this difference in you. Understand that until we are not identified as children of God, then for sure we are still going with the ways of the world. Hence, with repentance we shall turn onto the Lord and take our calling with all diligence, love and sincerity. Let your actions show the Love which you have towards God. As actions speak more than words, our witness filled life will also be a Living Testimony for the Love of Jesus Christ.

You are the Temple of God

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

"And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit." Eph 2:10,22

The Spirit of the Lord wants to reside in you and remember that you are called to be His dwelling place. Hence, let us give way for the Lord and stop living for our oneself. A life impeccable, blameless and pleasing in the sight of the Lord is the need of the Hour. In our daily life, let us seriously consider the amount of space we have given for Jesus the savior of our life. Have a checklist and watch over the bible reading times, prayer times, worship times and service and ministry times you have spent. Without God there is no Ministry, no Work, no Family, no Promotion, nothing exists. Hence let us shutdown everything which is running around us and turn unto Jesus, before everything else could shutdown and doom us on one fine day. Awake and start acting for the Kingdom of the Lord and all these things shall be added unto You, says the Lord our God.

Called to be as Imitators of God

"Be imitators(followers) of God, therefore, as dearly loved children"

"and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." Eph 5:1,2

You are called to be as the imitators of God. As a loving son would try to imitate his father, we are asked to be as God's children and show our Father's nature in us. Paul commends his followers to be like him and Paul himself took a serious decision in following Jesus and setting a difference in this world. Hence, this day as Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego we will also stand up to the commitment of living as sons and daughters of Jesus at all circumstances. God will deliver us from the Lion's den and from fierce fires and make the world witness His Amazing Glory.

“so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55: 11
